Landscape Maintenance Worker

We are looking for a Landscape Maintenance Worker. Our company is based in Troutdale (right off I-84 Troutdale exit), we work throughout the Portland/eastside area. We do all phases of commercial and residential landscape maintenance.

Requirements:

• Must have valid and drivers license, clean criminal record, clean drug test. (all verifiable) and be legal to work (fill out I-9)
• Must be able to understand English (for Daily written and spoken instruction from English speaking supervision)
• Must be responsible. If this isn't you please don't waste your time or ours.
• Good work ethic and dependable, able to work well with team or alone.
• Good attitude, no-drama, able to take instruction.
• Six months experience in a landscape field or landscape maintenance is preferred. Those with horticulture degree or extensive (verifiable history) background in landscape maintenance will be first considered.

Job Duties:

• Be able to operate all equipment safely and carefully around customers property. Equipment includes mowers, edgers, blowers, hedge trimmers, various hand tools, sometimes alone.
• Follow oral or written instructions
• Work in various weather conditions (hot/cold, wet/dry, yes we work in the rain, this is Oregon).
• Carefully prune and plant flowers (at times), bushes, hedges, etc. bed work, must have good eye for detail!
• Be flexible, manage work schedule. Work safely and efficiently with team lead and crew, or alone.
• This job is 30+ hours a week Monday through Friday.

Pay fully depends on experience but will be in range of $9.50-$12.00 hr.
